Beautiful views of Slieve Eva, the magnificent Connemara mountain ranges, the iconic Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands make this trek is one of the most popular! Whether it's a fun time or an exciting and challenging hack you're looking for we cater for all riders, from young to old with all different levels of experience. Ride some of the best trails the West of Ireland and Wild Atlantic Way have to offer. Each of our trails is unique. We trek through the woodlands, up the hills of Slieve Elva and along peaceful winding green roads into the world-renowned Burren region. Live out your dreams and gallop in the waves on a nearby beach or trek up the mountains until you find yourself sitting over 1200feet above the Atlantic, taking in panoramic views of the Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands and Connemara Mountains. The stables are located just a few minutes away from Doolin Cave and a short 10-minute drive outside the seaside village of Doolin, world famous for its traditional music and craic. Doolin is an ideal base for exploring what the west of Ireland has to offer. Situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, it is home to the shortest ferry crossing to the unspoilt Aran Islands, it is just minutes away from the Cliffs of Moher and is the perfect base for discovering the magical landscape of the Burren. Trek at a leisurely pace with gentle canters optional. Suitable for beginner and advanced riders.

  • ***Please note: The maximum weight limit for this horse riding activity per person is 95 kilograms/ 15 stone / 210 pounds. If you are above this weight, please advise urgently and we can provide an alternative beach horse drawn carriage experience What to bring: water and sustenance, warm clothing, sun block, sun glasses and a camera in case the weather is good. What to wear: Clothing suitable for riding. It is advisable to bring appropriate warm, rain & windproof gear as weather is very changeable. Safety: Please wear helmet provided and adhere to guides instructions. Medical conditions: Please advise guide of any and all medical conditions prior to departing on the days activities.
