Situated within the 3 star luxury hotel at Bellbridge House Hotel resides an authentic Irish bar blended with fresh and contemporary decoration. The stunning location looks out onto the Atlantic Ocean at Spanish Point, for guests to enjoy a warming beverage, food, and look out over the chilling water and sandy beach. The bar has modern facilities such as free WiFi, and becomes lively in the evenings as traditional live music echoes off the walls creating a lively ambiance. Wooden floors, stones walls, an open fireplace, and a rustic wooden bar is how the bar area can be characterised.
The bar menu draws inspiration from its Tides Bistro Restaurant of elegant dishes that you wouldn’t usually associate with bar food. Starters include Irish classics such as their seafood chowder and black pudding wrapped in crispy bacon, with a blue cheese sauce. For a main course hearty dishes include their traditional cottage pie and their famous golden Atlantic Cod with a Guinness infused batter. Roast dinners are also available each day for the ultimate comfort meal. The bar becomes very busy throughout the year as golfers returning from the Spanish Point golf course pop in for a crafty pint, and is equally as popular with guests staying at the hotel.
