Cullinans Seafood Restaurant & Guesthouse
Countyclare
Seafood
The Cullian Seafood restaurant in County Clare has been awarded the certificate of excellence by Trip Advisor for its food, as well as the Best in Ireland Award for 2012 by Bridgestone Guides. The restaurant is situated in an idyllic setting overlooking the Aille River, which can be seen from dining room. If you are planning on visiting the Burren, Cliffs of Moher or the Aran Islands then this is the perfect place to plan to dine. But given its popularity, all guests are advised to make bookings online in advance when coming for the dinner menu.
James and Carol Cullian own the restaurant and hotel, and James is Head Chef in the restaurant and oversees the creation of all their dishes. The menu focuses on Irish cuisine with a modern twist. This is predominantly seafood as it is available locally so can be caught fresh, ensuring the best possible taste for customers. Each dish is individual and has the creative flair that the restaurant has become renowned for. This is sure to please all diners, even those who do not enjoy fish as they have other meat dishes such as the honey glazed leg of duck or steak.
The early bird menu is a great substitute if you fancy a cheaper alternative but with the same choice (a three course meal is only 29.50 per head). This includes popular dishes such as the baked goats cheese with white onion, mustard marmalade and raspberry. For your main course we suggest their Irish Black Angus minute steak and do not leave without sampling their baked Tia Maria cheesecake with chocolate biscuit crust!
