Peppers Bar and Restaurant
Countyclare
Pub Grub Carverys
‘Peppers of Feakle’ is a nationally renowned pub, famous for its traditional Irish music and hosting a lively programme of bands and dancing. In the summer there is a music festival and on Wednesday nights, throughout the year, bands perform. This includes P. Joe Hayes, a famous Irish fiddle player and member of the Tulla Ceili group. The atmosphere in the Peppers’ bar and restaurant is rustic and informal with a strong local identity.
Established in 1810 it is the focal point of the Feakle community and has become somewhat of a cultural hub. Serving good pub grub all day long this is a great destination for home cooked comforts and a friendly face. The closing hour is flexible and is often open late into the night.
The menu is not incredibly varied but covers all the essentials expected from such an establishment, including roast leg of lamb, battered cod and chips, Irish bacon and cabbage, steak and bacon and cheese burger. The menu also provides starters and desserts to choose from.
