Sheedy’s restaurant is part of the Country House Hotel and has been awarded 2 AA Rosette awards for its high quality of food over the past decade. Sheedy also features in the Bridgestone Guide to Ireland and in the New York Times, who described their seafood as ‘exquisite, I wonder if ill ever eat fish as good again’. Owned by John and Matina, this is a small intimate location where friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere make it a pleasure to dine.
Head Chef John also takes immense pride in sourcing his products locally from artisan producers and cooking them to an exceptional standard. For example all of the fish of the menu is supplied by one family, the Garrihys from Doolin in the heart of the Burren district.
Sheedys restaurant even have their own vegetable plot at the restaurant for sourcing their greens. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. At dinner there is an a la carte menu as well as an early bird for those who want to indulge but for a little extra value.
