The Harbour Restaurant
Countyclare
Seafood
Situated in Creek Marina, Kilrush on the west coast of Ireland resides the Harbour restaurant that has an emphasis of seafood of the highest quality, caught freshly from the surrounding Atlantic Ocean. The restaurant opened in 2005 and boasts a spacious interior dining area that can accommodate up to 90 diners. Alternatively there is an outside terrace to be enjoyed on a pleasant day which overlooks the marina. The restaurant is welcoming for both small and large groups to enjoy their speciality Irish dishes, or the bar lounge is ideal for a pre or post meal beverage in a comfortable and tranquil setting.
The restaurant opens for lunch and dinner, and is easily accessible by road; diners are entitled to use their complimentary parking facilities. On the lunch menu the food represents basic but delicious wraps, baps, and bagels including steak and shrimp; daily specials such as ‘the big plate’ are however available for a more substantial lunchtime meal. The dinner menu offers guests a more sophisticated choice of classic dishes that are typical of the region including roast duck with a honey and ginger glaze, and baked salmon fillet in filo pastry and a paprika sauce. For a traditional starter their homemade black pudding served with sautéed garlic mushrooms is something of a delicacy here.
