This guided experience on Inis Oírr island suits visitors interested in Aran culture, traditional crafts, and outdoor activities.

Description

Begin your day with a welcome at the ferry arrival point from Doolin or Rosaveel. You will then take a guided walk or vehicle transfer to Loch Mór.

Participate in a hands-on demonstration of traditional currach building, followed by a relaxing lake tour or a rowing session on a fully licensed (P1) currach.

After lunch, enjoy a 45 to 60 minute traditional stone wall experience. Learn about Aran stone wall construction, techniques, and styles, then leave your handprint on the ancient intertwined walls of Inis Oírr.
