Description
Day 1: Dublin to Galway
Meet your private driver at your hotel in Dublin and leave the capital behind. Travel west through Ireland’s countryside towards the Atlantic coast. Stop in the historic town of Athlone, located beside the River Shannon. Enjoy time for a short walk, refreshments, or photographs before continuing west.
Arrive in Galway and explore one of Ireland’s most atmospheric cities. Suggested sightseeing includes Eyre Square, the Galway Latin Quarter, Shop Street, the Spanish Arch, the Galway Cathedral area, the River Corrib, and the Galway waterfront. Your driver will then transfer you to your independently booked Galway accommodation.
Day 2: The Burren and Cliffs of Moher
After pickup from your Galway accommodation, begin a scenic journey into County Clare. Pass through or stop in the traditional village of Kinvara on Galway Bay. Continue through the extraordinary Burren landscape, famous for its limestone terrain, stone walls, and unusual natural scenery. Enjoy selected viewpoint and photography stops depending on road and weather conditions.
Visit the small coastal village of Doolin, known for traditional Irish music and its location near the Atlantic coast. There will be time for refreshments or lunch at your own expense. Continue to one of Ireland’s most famous natural attractions, the Cliffs of Moher. Enjoy free time to explore the viewing areas and cliff walks. After leaving the cliffs, continue through sections of Ireland’s scenic Atlantic countryside. Return to Galway in the evening.
Day 3: Galway to Dublin
After breakfast, meet your private driver at your accommodation. Begin the return journey towards Dublin with scenic stops depending on weather, road conditions, and available time. Travel through central Ireland and enjoy quieter landscapes away from the main cities.
When timing allows, an optional stop can be made near the historic monastic site of Clonmacnoise (admission not included). A short refreshment or comfort stop may be made before continuing towards Dublin.
