Description
Meet your trained driver and guide outside the Kinlay Hostel in Galway, then board the bus to begin your journey. Your first stop is Dunguaire Castle near Kinvara, a 16th-century tower house and one of Ireland’s most photographed castles.
Travel through the distinctive glaciokarst landscape of the Burren, passing Corcomroe Abbey, a 12th-century Cistercian monastery renowned for its carvings and ornamentation. Follow the coastal route of the Wild Atlantic Way through County Clare.
Drive past Black Head and Fanore Strand, which offer panoramic views of the Aran Islands (Inishmore, Inishmann, and Inisheer), Galway Bay, and the distant Connemara mountains.
Stop at Doolin pier to experience the Atlantic breeze and ocean views. Lunch is available at Doolin Hotel (not included), where local seafood dishes are recommended.
The main attraction is a two-hour visit to the Cliffs of Moher, rising 214 meters above the Atlantic Ocean, offering expansive coastal views.
