This 4-day guided tour covers western Ireland from Dublin to Killarney, ideal for travelers interested in Irish culture, landscapes, and history.
Day 1: Dublin – Connemara – Galway
Travel from Dublin across the midlands to the west. Visit Cong village, known for the film The Quiet Man, explore Cong Abbey ruins, and enjoy lunch by the lake. Continue along Lough Corrib to Galway, where you can relax at a pub with views of Galway Bay accompanied by traditional Irish music. Optional local walking or pub crawl tours are available.
Day 2: Galway – Cliffs of Moher – Dingle
Drive along the west coast beside the Atlantic Ocean. See sandy beaches and possibly marine wildlife. Explore the Burren, a unique botanical region. Visit the Cliffs of Moher before staying overnight in Annascaul village on the Dingle Peninsula for an authentic Irish village experience.
Day 3: Dingle – Killarney
Spend time in Dingle, a Gaelic-speaking fishing village, with free time for shopping and lunch. Take a guided tour around Slea Head, enjoy scenic views, and learn local songs and stories. See Sleeping Giant Island and the 3 Sisters mountain range. End the day in Killarney, known for traditional music, restaurants, dancing, and Killarney National Park.
Day 4: Killarney – Dublin
Choose an optional horse and cart or horseback ride through Killarney National Park. Visit Blarney Castle with two hours to explore and the chance to kiss the Blarney Stone. After lunch, drive through the Golden Vale region and stop at the Rock of Dunamase for photos before returning to Dublin.
