Carrygerry Country House
Countyclare
As the winner of Ireland’s 2006 Good Food prize, the Carrygerry Country House restaurant is a great destination for a meal to remember. The atmosphere is right for a romantic dinner or a special one-off event. The building was constructed in 1793 and is full of traditional features, fireplaces, high ceilings and elaborate decoration. The restaurant is situated in the Conservatory, which overlooks the Shannon and Fergus estuary.
The evening menu is broken into two, with the Early Bird menu and the later Dinner menu. Their reputation for great food is based on their total use of fresh and organic local produce. All ingredients are sourced from the best possible farmers and artisan food suppliers. They also have a carefully selected wine list to match each of the dishes, for the best all round experience.
The wedding facilities can cater from between 20 and 100 guests so is perfect for all potential clients. Whilst the restaurant is charming, it is also not overly formal so do not be put off if you just fancy a great taste of Irish dining on any night of the week.
