The Montenotte Hotel, an SLH Hotel

The Montenotte Hotel is an urban resort in Montenotte, Cork City, combining a city location with woodland surroundings, gardens and a range of on-site facilities. Its character is design-led and relaxed, with accommodation that includes hotel bedrooms, residences and secluded Woodland Suites. The setting gives the property a retreat-like feel while keeping it connected to Cork’s urban attractions.

Dining centres on Panorama, a stylish restaurant with a lively atmosphere and an eclectic design approach. Its interiors draw on the contrast between New York cool and Parisian chic, creating a dining setting with a strong visual identity. The hotel also offers The Glasshouse, afternoon tea, private dining and a Wine Club, giving guests several ways to enjoy food and drink on the property. Dining arrangements can suit a relaxed hotel stay, a special occasion or a dedicated evening meal.

Wellbeing is another central part of the experience. Bellevue Spa provides a space for treatments and relaxation, while Motion Health Club adds a fitness-focused option. The hotel’s gardens, woodland setting, comfortable accommodation and wellness facilities combine to support slower-paced stays as well as short city breaks. For County Clare visitors planning time in Cork, the property offers accommodation, dining and leisure facilities in one location.

The Montenotte also includes Cameo Cinema, adding an entertainment option alongside the restaurant and wellness facilities. Its event spaces are arranged for corporate meetings, networking receptions, product launches and bespoke brand events, making the hotel suitable for both leisure and professional occasions. The range of accommodation and gathering spaces also gives the property flexibility for couples, wellness-focused guests, celebratory stays and organised events.

The overall style is contemporary, polished and residential in feel, with the surrounding woodland providing a contrast to the hotel’s urban setting. The Montenotte suits visitors looking for a Cork base with more than a bedroom alone, particularly those interested in on-site dining, spa time, fitness, cinema visits or a private event setting.
