Local booking tip

If you’re planning to visit County Clare in July or August, particularly around festivals or holiday weekends, don’t wait until the last minute to book. Some of the top rated accommodations near Ennis or along the coast in Lahinch fill up fast. If you’re flexible, consider staying slightly outside popular towns, like in coastal villages a bit further south or near the Burren plateau. You might find excellent guesthouses with solid reviews, quieter nights, and a fairer price. Also, keep an eye on midweek stays when the busiest crowds have gone. It can make a big difference to your overall experience here.
