Kasturi Indian Restaurant
Countyclare
Asian
For a great Indian meal there is no better choice than Kasturi in the village of Lucan. The owner Oli Ullah began his life in humble beginnings in Bangladesh and moved to Ireland in 1986 to train as a chef. Since establishing Kasturi he has won the Bridgestone award for food excellence four times over. He has certainly had great success because of the high quality and great taste of his food.
The restaurant is not especially large but the décor is very modern, with clean lines and a sleek approach to dining. The most popular plates on the menu include starters such as chicken Tikka Pakora or grilled crab claws. For main courses they have a variety of meats including Tandoori mackerel and jumbo prawns. This is special curry venue and is a must if you are visiting County Clare. The Kasturi also has a special Early Bird menu for those who wish to indulge in these delicious flavours but with more value for money.
There is also a takeaway menu if you would prefer to enjoy the food in your own home.
