L'Arco Italian Restaurant
Countyclare
L’Arco is situated in the centre of Ballyvaughan village in the heart of the Burren district, County Clare. The restaurant has on street parking and is easy to locate by car. The restaurant serves authentic Italian food, working with the Italian School of Cookery in Ireland, to a very high standard with friendly waiter service and a welcoming atmosphere. This family-run affair is good for large groups, as well as children.
All of the meals are prepared fresh to order and use the best quality ingredients and are sourced locally wherever possible. Nothing is pre-packaged and it is all made from scratch with recipes that the two head chefs have bought with them from Italy. They are brothers Matteo and Gianmaria who are from Sardinia. These recipes include pastas, pizzas, breads, desserts and more. This sometimes means that waiting times vary but they will most definitely be worth the wait for the best quality produce.
Their dinner menu is always evolving with the seasons, influxes of new produce and flavours. However their menu always includes staple varieties of antipasti (bruschetta, carpaccio), pasta (carbonara, ravioli) and pizza. Smoked salmon risotto is also a popular favourite. They serve an early bird menu but which requires tables to be seated before 6.30 and cleared by 7.45pm.
Opening Times:
