Sauna Suaimhneas

Sauna Suaimhneas is a mobile sauna venue based at Dough in Lahinch, with sessions also offered at Lahinch Beach, Whitestrand near Miltown Malbay and Clahane Shore. Its character comes from combining sauna bathing with coastal settings, creating a wellness experience that can be booked for individual sessions, shared occasions and more structured guided events in County Clare.

The venue offers bookable sauna sessions alongside guided sauna ceremonies for groups of four to six friends. These ceremonies provide a more organised format for a shared sauna experience, while private rental is available for smaller gatherings. Private sauna whisking treatments can also be arranged for one or two people, adding a traditional treatment option to the core sauna session.

Sauna Suaimhneas suits visitors looking for a focused wellness activity by the coast, as well as local groups planning a private occasion. The different formats allow the venue to work for a short session, a social booking or a more personal treatment. An off-peak membership is available for regular visitors, and vouchers and package deals form part of the booking options.

The venue also has a community aspect through a Sunday morning run club, connecting sauna sessions with an active local routine. Sauna-themed merchandise, including hats, bags and T-shirts, is available as an additional part of the offering.

Sessions are generally scheduled across weekday and weekend periods, although opening days and hours vary during the year. Times are flexible, and requests outside the usual schedule can be sent directly to the venue. Bookings are handled through the online session facility, with email and WhatsApp available for confirmation problems, payment issues or other booking queries.

With several shoreline locations, guided ceremonies, private hire and treatment options, Sauna Suaimhneas is suited to visitors seeking a sauna experience connected to Lahinch and the surrounding coast. The format is practical and adaptable, with options for solo visitors, small private groups and groups of friends.
