Post Offices - The Post Office or Oifig an Phoist in Irish, is located in the centre of most towns and the service is known as An Post. They carry out a variety of services including money transfers, should you run out!

Phone Services - There is an excellent telephone service to all parts of the county provided by Eircom. There are many mobile companies and coverage is good across the county. You should receive a text from the provider nearest to you offering their service. Some areas still have a week signal but you should find the level of service sufficient.

Internet - Numerous hotels offer a free WIFI service. If you are unable to access the network simply ask at reception. Similarly restaurants, bars, and the local McDonalds (Ennis and Shannon) all offer free WIFI. Internet access is high speed but can be difficult to get reception in the more remote areas.

Newspapers - The national newspapers are The Irish Examiner, The Irish Independent and The Irish Times. All UK tabloids such as The Star, The Sun and The Mirror are also available as are UK broadsheets. These papers are called The Irish Star etc but mostly have the same content as the UK editions. Local newspapers include the Clare Champion and the Clare People. If you rally want to find out what is happening in County Clare have a look at the local papers. The Clare People can be purchased on Tuesdays and The Clare Champion on Thursdays.

Television - Most bars/restaurants have a television and as Ireland is a sports mad country there always seems to be sport of some sort on at all times. The main domestic channels are RTE 1, RTE 2, TV3 and the Irish language Channel TG4. BBC 1 and 2, ITV are also available as are all the Sky channels.

Radio - The main local radio stations in County Clare include Clare FM and Spin South West. National radio stations include 2fm and Today fm. Clare FM carry a local diary and its a great source of what is on in the county.

Day 1: Dublin – Cliffs of Moher – Dingle Peninsula  Meet your tour guide and fellow travellers at one of the central Dublin collection points in the morning. Enjoy a relaxing drive across the beautiful countryside with amazing views. Your tour guide will also ensure you have the best possible experience while on the road by telling stories and providing information you may be interested in. Take a short stop for refreshments and then continue the drive towards the West Coast. Then, enjoy a drive along the shores of Galway Bay with fabulous views of the Atlantic Ocean. This coastal route is distinctive due to its gorgeous golden beaches and dolphins breaching off the shore. Make your way to the Burren which is one of the most popular landscapes in Ireland, famous for its Limestone Rock that stretches as far as the eye can see, reaching down to the sea shore. Before reaching the Cliffs of Moher, pause for lunch in the small village of Doolin with continuous views of Doolin Harbour and the Aran Islands.
