A great outdoors adventure is waiting for you at the Burren Outdoor Education Centre.
Get back to nature and explore this area while rock climbing, hill walking or caving. Take to the water on a body board, floating atop a raft you’ve built yourself; or below the surface with a snorkel. If that hasn’t left you feeling completely exhausted, there are also training courses for those interested in becoming instructors or there is the opportunity to expand your knowledge with field studies in eco-tourism, ecology and geography.
The Burren Outdoor Education Centre is suitable for all ages, with adventures tailored to primary school groups right through to hen and stag parties. Choose from a jam-packed half-day, a full day or spend an entire weekend full of exciting activities.
The centre is purpose built and fully equipped amidst curved limestone hills. Facilities include dining area, games room, meeting/ lecture room, showers, drying room, a playing pitch and volley ball area. Hostel style accommodation is provided in two dorms of 16, with two single rooms for leaders in one area and in four rooms of four and two twin rooms in another area. Groups who choose to stay will enjoy quality home cooked meals.
