Imecofarm
Countyclare
Friendly farm animals, forests, and fun - Imecofarm (pronounced ‘I’m eco farm’) is an experience for everyone.
Imecofarm opened in 2010 as a visitor farm for families and schools to come to learn about renewable craft and energy sources through a variety of hands-on courses. Learn how to build a wind turbine or harvest your own rain water.
Visit the Fergus Estuary Interpretive Centre showing the marshlands, wildlife,
nature, biodiversity, heritage, history and archaeology of IslandMcGrath and the
Fergus Estuary.
Spend the day exploring forests, following nature trails and meeting the friendly animals including donkeys, hens, ducks, miniature pigs, pony rides, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, snakes, bearded dragons and rats.
Tour the farm aboard a fun train ride or pedal carts, have a go on the bouncy castle or take part in a treasure hunt.
You’re most welcome to bring a picnic lunch with plenty of seating provided or enjoy tea, coffee and refreshments from the café.
