St Tola Irish Organic Goats Cheese
Countyclare
Winner of Best Irish Cheese at the 2012 World Cheese Awards, St Tola in Inagh (near County Clare’s Atlantic coast) is world renowned for its delicious and flavour-packed organic goat's cheese, receiving critical acclaim ever since its launch over 25 years ago. All the cheeses found here are handmade to suit the customer’s tastes, from young and fresh crottin to mature gouda, and are 100% traceable from farmyard to fork.
Of course, visitors to St Tola will find that there is far more to do then sample the cheeses.
Set within their 65 acre unspoiled farmland, visitors have a chance to meet the goats and observe their feeding times (ideal for school vacations and families). Or if goats aren’t your thing, then how about learning how the cheese is made, from the moulding process to how the food artisans add their unique touch to the product?
