Redeveloped and re-opened in 2008 the ground now holds 25,600 people and boasts some of the most modern corporate and conferencing facilities in Ireland.
It is famous for Munster's win over the mighty All Blacks in 1978 and the Blacks came back to launch the new grounds in 2008 and provided everything that a rugby night in Munster would want, except the win.
The new Stadium now hosts a huge variety of events from International level rugby and soccer to famous musicians like Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart and Elton John.
The increased capacity allows the Stadium to be ever more adventurous in the events it handles. The many bars, restaurants and corporate facilities create a special atmosphere that is second to none anywhere in the world.
